Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II says the team has the "luxury of time" and will wait and see what happens to sexual assault allegations against Ben Roethlisberger before making any decision on the team's quarterback situation.

Rooney's public comments Thursday were his first since Roethlisberger was accused of assaulting a 20-year-old college
student in a nightclub on March 5. Milledgeville, Ga. police are still investigating and Roethlisberger's attorneys deny he did anything criminal.

Rooney says if the team "were at a different point in the year we may have to be thinking and doing something different. But at
the moment, I think we're in a situation we're going to let this investigation play out and then go from there."

Roethlisberger has skipped voluntary workouts with the team this week.
