Monday, Georgia Congressman Nathan Deal announced this week would be his last in Washington. That's because he's leaving his post to work on his campaign for governor. Some are questioning the timing of that decision. Deal is leaving his Republican seat open as Congress prepares for a health care vote. Also, Deal is being investigated by the U.S. House of Representatives Ethics Committee because of contracts between his company and the state. Deal addressed both issues, but he is not concerned.

Deal is one of six Republicans running for Governor. He is getting right to work on his campaign. After Macon, he made his way to Albany and Savannah.
