Man charged after passenger thrown from truck bed
A Chamblee pickup driver whose passenger was
ejected from the truck bed and killed has been charged with
second-degree vehicular homicide.
Sandy Springs police charged 69-year-old Jack Mize. It follows
the death of 35-year-old Evilio Morales last week following an
incident on I-285 outside Atlanta.
Police say around 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, Mize sideswiped a
Mercedes in the westbound lanes, then lost control of the pickup.
The truck rolled and Morales was flung from the pickup.
Mize and a passenger in the cab of the pickup suffered non-life
threatening injuries.
It is illegal in Georgia to carry passengers in pickup truck
beds on the interstate.

Pick-ups/passengers
I dont think it should be legal for a dog to ride in the back of a pick-up, let alone a human unless they can be restrained some kind of way, and even then, if a accident occurs, theres no garantee that the person, or dog will be unhurt or dead......
