Wet Ground Hog Day Start should Dry Out Later
We'll contend with the wet weather through your morning hours today with areas of drizzle later before everything moves out by this evening. Highs today will remain a few degrees below normal around 50 degrees. It's going to be a chilly night here in Middle Georgia with temps in the low 30s. By tomorrow morning, expect a cold start. Be careful on the roadways because a few may be slick due to residual ponding and temperatures falling near freezing. Wednesday afternoon should by far be the nicest day this workweek!
Later this week, Mother Nature is planning on watering her plants...big time...on Thursday and Friday. Given the already saturated grounds, flooding by late week is a possibility.
This week is also Georgia's Severe Weather Awareness Week. For more on how to keep you, your family, and property safe, please visit my Blog: http://www.41nbc.com/blog/1002021764296/georgias-severe-weather-awareness-week
