MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Get ready to lace up your sneakers and run or walk to help adults living with disabilities. Sam Martinez stopped by Daybreak to tell us more about the Cherry Blossom road race and how it benefits the Wesley Glenn Ministries.
Wesley Glenn Ministries was established in 1984. It serves adults with developmental disabilities by providing a home environment and programs that allow them to develop skills and confidence, while living happy and full lies. Wesley Glenn is a private, not for profit agency.
The Wesley Glenn Cherry Blossom Road Race is Saturday, March 22 at 8:15 a.m. Racers can participate in one mile fun run, a 5K, or a 10K race. There will also be a free Kids Carnival.
The race will be at Howard Middle School located at 6600 Forsyth Road from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
