MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Historic Vineville Christmas Tour of Homes kicks off this weekend. Canaan Marshall and Dina Deason shared details on the upcoming holiday event.
According to a news release, Vineville was one of Macon's first suburbs and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1981. This year's tour showcases Vineville's distinctive architecture, history, and gardens.
NewTown Macon's trolley will be circling the tour route both days to offer rides and additional information about Historic Vineville.
A reception will be held afterwards at The Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the tour. The tours will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
