MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - We're going back in time to the roaring twenties to "Celebrate Hope." Christie Johnson from the Jay's HOPE Foundation stopped by 41 Today to tell us how we can enjoy an evening of fun while raising money to help kids battling cancer.
Celebrate HOPE is Jay's HOPE's largest fundraising event of the year. The theme "Roaring Twenties" is new this year. The night will feature Joey Stuckey's band playing live jazz music, food from the 1920s, a silent and live auction, and a reverse raffle for $5,000.
The fundraiser is Saturday, March 8 at the Historic Terminal Station. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60.
You can purchase tickets online at http://www.jayshope.org/ or buy them at the door the day of the event. For more information, call (478) 238-6360.
