Fight Against Colon Cancer With A Free Screening

Written by Kyle Warnke on . Posted in DAYBREAK

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Every month we team up with Community Health Works, a non-profit group based in Macon, to highlight and show ways to fight against leading diseases and sicknesses.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and is designated to bring to light a disease that is the third leading cancerous cause of death. However, there are ways to fight it, and testing for it doesn't have to cost you a thing.

Chris Kiker stopped in our Daybreak studio to raise awareness of the disease, and talk about a free screening opportunity happening in Macon.
