Written by Kyle Warnke on . Posted in DAYBREAK

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - We've been hearing the unmistakable sounds of those little red bells ringing for a little more than a week now across middle Georgia.

The bells and red kettles of the Salvation Army, are a great reminder of those living all around us, who need our support and help. But the Salvation Army wants to remind everyone, people need help more often than just during the holiday season.

Peggy Steels of the Salvation Army, stopped in our Daybreak studio to talk about the ongoing mission of the Salvation Army, and how you can get involved.
