Marco La Manno - Meteorologist

(478) 745-4141 ext. 313

Marco La Manno joined the 41NBC First Alert Storm Team in July 2012. Born in Queens, New York and raised in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, he is ecstatic to call Middle Georgia his new home.

Marco developed a passion for weather at an early age in elementary school. His excitement for meteorology continued into his college years, where he attended the University of Florida. At Florida, he reported for radio and TV and won 1st Place in the College Florida Associated Press Broadcasters awards banquet in the Short Light Feature category.

His biggest interest, however, remained weather, and he volunteered as a weather forecaster at the campus station WUFT for two years. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications News and a Certificate in Meteorology.

He also was fortunate and thrilled to meet Stephanie Abrams of Weather Channel and Today Show fame!

Marco loves the Florida Gators and regularly sports Gator shirts and polos when going out. Outside of 41NBC, he enjoys going to the movies, listening to music (Beatles are his favorite band), reading (Agatha Christie is his favorite author), and playing video and PC games. Although he loves New York and Florida, he's excited to become a part of Middle Georgia.
