Other information
Coreen Savitski has been with 41 NBC since September 2007. She first joined our news team as a general Assignment Reporter, and in 2008 she became our Daybreak Anchor. Today Coreen anchors the 6pm and 11pm news on 41NBC and the 10pm news on our sister station MY41. She feels lucky to call such a kind and warm community her home! As a Northern Illinois native, Coreen knew she had a passion for news even at a young age.
Coreen pursued her goals while attending Columbia College Chicago as a Broadcast/Journalism student. Coreen gained a great deal of her experience while reporting for college and local level stations. Coreen interned in London at CNBC Europe and was employed as a production assistant at FOX Chicago-WFLD.
Coreen has covered topics ranging from elections to baseball games. She's been to most of Middle Georgia's 23 counties. Coreen says her favorite part about being an Anchor/Reporter is that there's always someone to talk to. She believes everyone has a story to tell.
When Coreen isn't working, you can find her with her Yorkie "Holly" or enjoying the outdoors. The beautiful Georgia weather makes Coreen not miss Illinois snow storms.
