Woman Attacked While Taking Husband to Hospital

JONESBORO, Ga. - Authorities say a 75-year-old Georgia woman was attacked while trying to take her ailing husband to the hospital.
WSB-TV reports the couple stopped at an automated teller machine in Jonesboro on their way to the hospital around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say a man got into their car and began punching the woman, Claudene Lambert, in the face.
Jonesboro Police Chief Franklin Allen said the man then stole her ATM card and driver's license and fled. Police said they were pursuing leads in the case.
