Belk Fall Charity Sale Benefits Local Groups

Written by Coreen Savitski on . Posted in Coreen Savitski

A major department store is kicking off the holiday shopping season with your chance to take advantage of a big sale while benefiting local non-profit groups.  Event Coordinator and Sales Manager with the Belk at the Shops at River Crossing Jennie Ray joined us on the 41NBC news at 6pm Tuesday with details about the upcoming charity sale.

The Belk Charity Sale is Saturday, November 5, from 6am-10am. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds benefit local non-profits and schools. That $5 ticket becomes a discount in the store during the four hour shopping event.

The semi-annual Charity Sale raised more than $9.5 million for non-profits last year.
