A "Night Out" in Warner Robins
Next week the Warner Robins and Centerville Police Departments are hosting National Night Out. This is the 27th year for the national event that highlights crime and drug prevention. Warner Robins Police Department's Public Information Officer, Tabitha Pugh, joined us on Daybreak this morning with the lineup of events.
According to the Warner Robins Police Department, National Night out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. The night out is also an opportunity for police to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. The event generates support for local anti-crime programs and it send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are fighting back.
You’re invited to the Target store on Watson Blvd. Tuesday, August 3, to take part in National Night Out. Visit the store from 5pm-7pm to meet S.W.A.T. team members, take part in children’s fingerprinting, and more. This is a free family event.
