Speed Dating Comes to Macon

You've all seen speed dating in the movies right?  We'll it's coming to life here in Middle Georgia. Ready 2 Love Matchmaker Veronica Spann was here this morning to tell us how it works

Despite all the dating and matchmaking websites, Spann thinks there is a need for matchmaking here in Middle Georgia because there are a number of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

Spann says the biggest misconception about her matchmaking business is that it goes hand in hand with an escort service.  Spann says this is not true at all!  She screens her clients to make sure they are genuine about being set up and also a good catch.  She won’t help married people.  Her clients go through background checks.

Ready 2 Love is hosting their first speed dating event on Tuesday, July 27^th at Bealls House (315 College St. in Macon).  This is a chance for you to meet and mingle with other singles in a non-threatening environment.  The mini-dates will last five minutes and then you’ll move right along to the next single.  You don’t have to sign up in advance, just bring $5 and be ready to socialize.
