Check Out Some Junque Yard Art

The much anticipated Junque Yard Art Sculpture Contest is coming up this weekend.  Macon Iron representative Laurie Sikora joined us on Daybreak Tuesday to fill us in on this unusual art show.

The theme of the 2010 Junque Yard Art Sculpture Contest is “Prehistoric Creatures.”  Art students from Middle Georgia colleges will compete for scholarships. 

You’re invited to the FREE opening reception of the 11th Annual Junque Yard Art Sculpture Contest Friday, March 19th from 6pm-8pm at Middle Georgia Art Association (2330 Ingleside Ave. in Macon).  The art/sculptures will remain on display at the MGAA until April 6th.  For more information call (478) 744-9557.
