VIDALIA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Wednesday on 41 Today, Drew Read with the Paul Anderson Youth Home stopped by to address issues affecting today's youth and ways parents can detect and respond to high-risk behaviors.
The Paul Anderson Youth Home was founded in 1961 as an alternative to juvenile and adult correctional programs for men between the ages of 16 and 21.
According to Read, PAYH offers a new beginning for troubled teens. His hope is that the young men served through the program will impact those around them and reach their potential as the next generation of husbands, fathers, workers, students, teachers, and coaches.
Since its start, the home has served over 1,200 young men & their families from more than 40 states.
