call to action

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – About a dozen of people met in Bibb County Saturday to figure out ways to bring the community together.

The workshop was held at the Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Community members and county leaders talked about how to strengthen the neighborhood and how to spread their message.

“A unified group can get more done right now if we go to city council with different things and issues,” said Sarah Hunt. “As a unified group we can get something done.”

The group has marched in different movements dealing with Trayvon Martin and Kendrick Johnson.
