FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The SPLOST is back on the ballot in Monroe County. Next Tuesday, voters will decide if they want to see it continue in 2014.

Water is a common resource, and a common problem in Monroe County.

“We have a special need in the eastern part of the county where people have discovered some uranium in their well,” says Chairman James Vaughn, Monroe County Commission.
